MODULAR CONFIGURATION FEATURES

CONFIGURATION FEATURES - MODULAR CHILLERS

  • OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

When properly equipped, Brother Chillers are capable of operating in regions with large fluctuations in ambient temperature and the harsh effects of the marine environment.

    Operate in Cold Weather

    Low Temperature Operation Features include:

Self-Regulating compressor heaters that aid in cold weather start-up

Discharge Bypass System that diverts hot gas from compressor to the heat exchanger thereby affording operation in cold weather environments.

    Operate in Hot Weather

High Temperature condenser afford operation in ambient temperatures of up to 110 degrees F.

    Operate in Marine Enviroments

Choose configurations with copper/copper condensers. Copper finned condensers along with the standard 316 SS cabinets make Modular Chillers by Brother an excellent choice for withstanding the harsh marine environment.

  • AIR FLOW

Condenser Fans of composite blades provide efficiency and longevity.

  • SENSORS

Get the pulse of your Chiller by choosing a configuration that includes temperature , flow and refrigerant sensors.

    Chilled Medium Sensors

Temperature Sensors can be installed to observe Supply Medium Temperature, Return Medium Temperature or both!

Flow Sensors allow for users to fine tune the Medium Flow rate during commission and observation during normal operation.

    Refrigerant Sensors

Observe Discharge (high) and Suction (low) refrigerant pressures to aid in troubleshooting and seasonal pressure fluctuation.

When configured, the ROI harness will include the sensors outputs for communication with a Central Control and Monitoring System.

  • PHYSICAL

The standard cabinet material for all Brother Chillers is 316 stainless. Need a different cabinet material?  Contact Us and we'll talk about it!

  • CONTROLS

Utilize the standard ROI harness to control your Fan Coil with a thermostat or an aftermarket control system.

  • CUSTOM CONFIGURATIONS

Need a Special Configuration?  Different combination of features?  Different voltage?  Special Application Equipment?
